Workers, Families and Friends to Hold Candlelight Vigil Tonight to Commemorate the Life of Riverside Community Hospital Worker Who Died from COVID-19

Rosa Luna, 68, Was an Environmental Services
Housekeeper with 25 Years on Staff at the Hospital

[5-15-20] RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Co-workers, family and friends of Rosa Luna, an Environmental Services Housekeeper at Riverside Community Hospital for 25 years who died May 4 from COVID-19, will hold a candlelight vigil from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight, May 15 at the hospital, 4445 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, to commemorate her life.

“Thank you for your service, friendship, and most of all your conversations,” said her co-worker, Ray Valdivia. “Your fight may be over, but rest assured that ours has barely begun.”

She is survived by her daughter and two grandchildren.

The vigil will be held with social distancing and participants will be required to wear masks.
