My name is Julia Hamilton, and I am a proud 9-year employee of Kaiser Permanente and a good standing member of SEIU-UHW. I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, in both patient care and administrative environments.

My excitement for our Union began in 2017 when I was able to gain firsthand experience in local and national bargaining. I was honored to be a part of the bargaining team that assisted the transition for Member Outreach Specialists (MOS) to join the Union. I was equally honored to assist in implementing my department’s UBT as a Co-Lead for 2+ years. These experiences provided knowledge and  insight about both employer and Union, which further enhanced my enthusiasm to be engaged.

At this time, I am asking for your support to be nominated and elected as an Executive Board Representative for Sacramento. I am deeply committed to our rights as employees, patients, and good standing Union members. I am eager for the opportunity to engage with my fellow coworkers and Union brothers and sisters to learn more about OUR concerns, to transfer and share knowledge amongst each other, and to be a voice for all the constituents that I represent.
