Pfizer Vaccine Gets Full Approval – What’s Up with Moderna and J&J?
On Aug. 23, the FDA gave full approval to the Pfizer vaccine for anyone 16 and older. As of this week, more than 200 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been administered in the U.S. But what about the others? Moderna submitted their FDA paperwork about a month after Pfizer, so we should expect news on approval by the end of September. Johnson & Johnson is on a longer timeline and may not get full approval until the end of the year or even early 2022.
