I was a Union Steward for 5 years with UFCW Local 101, eventually merging with UFCW Local 5. When I later moved to a “Right To Work” state, I joined UFCW Local 368a. I quickly became a Steward and remained a part of that team for 11 years.

During my 11 years of service with UFCW 368, I attended 2 national Steward training classes, supported and assisted with unionizing a company, and was a member of the count team (counting ballots for our board member drive). In 2020, I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors and was part of the merge to UFCW Local 555 out of Oregon. After the merge, only 2 people from the state of Idaho were elected to serve on the bargaining table for the new contract, with great honor and privilege I was one of those two individuals.

Since 2023, I joined my current team at Kaiser. In the short time I have been here, I have served as Strike Leader. Each day I provided physical and emotional support while escorting strikers out of the building.
